The day before yesterday , me and quite a number of my friends went to the nee soon east community building to take part in the yearly Avid Reader competion . At first me and my friend , Rachel Chiu , amused ourselves by purring at a stray cat .But , when it became aggresive and jumped on our table , we each got a horrible fright . What a horrible cat . Later , when a boy from primary 5 kept harrasing it with a stick , it pounced at us .Luckily , we leapt out of the way in time , if not , God knows what might have happened . Later , before announcing the results of the Avid Reader competion , some Tamil performances and speeches came up and we couldn't make head nor tail out of it . So , me and Rachel started reading . But , the constant cheering from the other schools present was piercing and shrilling and disturbed us . In the end , me and Rachel went to the food and drink stall to read our books and only stopped when it was time to announce the results .That's all I want to say , so bye for now , everyone !!!
